Ohio RINO: Southerners To Blame For GOP Problems

leave a comment »

Ohio “Compassionate Conservative” aka RINO  Senator George Voinovich has had enough of Southerners in the Grand Ol’ Party.  Voinovich, who is not running for re-elction [thank God!] must have felt just  a little animosity and very brave when he spoke out this week:

“We got too many Jim DeMints and Tom Coburns,” Voinovich told the Columbus Dispatch Monday. “It’s the Southerners…”They get on TV and go ‘errrr, errrrr,'” he said, according to the paper. “People hear them and say, ‘These people, they’re Southerners. The party’s being taken over by Southerners. What they hell they got to do with Ohio?'”

It’s a good thing the 72 year old Voinovich, who votes below party average with Republicans [only 75.3% of the time] and favors Democrats in immigration issues,  isn’t running again.  Senator Voinovich had over 300 earmarks in the last spending bill.  Reportedly he didn’t apologize for putting in the earmarks. We need to kick all Senators who think bipartisan means “doing what the Democrats say” to the curb.

The well known, devout Catholic Senator Voinovich should know that its not only Southerners who are conservative! Its’ Republicans that should be conservative!  I don’t even know what to make of this blatantly Civil War and Civil Rights Era complaint.   Call the Senator’s office and let him know the South has already risen again and we ain’t leaving.

Gates Embraces Racist Stereotypes

with one comment

Hot Air brings us this embarrassing (ala other racists like Sotomayor, Wright) and hateful video of Harry Gates preaching on a Sunday morning.

Count how many ugly stereotypes Harvard-educated and employed Professor Harry Gates uses in his talk during a church service. How about watermelon, barbecue, shake the tree, one-nigger syndrome?

Gates’s speech reinforces that affirmative action keeps minorities enslaved that they can’t compete in the open market by hard work and doing a good job. Who’s really looking out for who? Not the Harry Louis Gates, Sotomayors, and Rev Wrights of the world. When you tell someone that they can’t do something because of the color of their skin, you’re not helping them – you’re hurting them. Politicians like Charlie Rangel, community organizers like Barack Obama, Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, and Harvard professors like Harry Gates have made their careers on the backs of minorities. Without the impoverished, uneducated, and ignorant masses, they have nothing.

Disrespecting The Law Is Back In Style

with 2 comments

In the 90’s Bill Clinton brought oral sex to our children, and now over 40 years after civil rights protests, Obama has made disrespecting police in your own home acceptable.  As long as you’re on your own property, children, you don’t have to listen to law officers.  The Black Sphere has the conversation between elitist and erudite, “safe in his ivory towers of Harvard” Professor Gates and the Cambridge police officer doing his “duty to protect citizens” Sgt. Crowley:

Cop: Sir, I’m going to need you to put your hands up. I’m responding to a possible break-in at this residence.

Elitist: This is MY house, Cracker!

Cop: Sir, I will need to see some ID.

Elitist: I’m a PROFESSOR at HARVARD and a friend of the PRESIDENT. What, you don’t think a BLACK man can own a NICE home? Did I mention HARVARD?! Why are you YELLING at me,white boy?!!

Cop: Sir, we can get this resolved quickly, if I can just see some ID, and…

Elitist: I don’t have to show you anything in my own home, whitey! I teach at Harvard. You’re trespassing. I could make one phone call, and you will be on the streets, homeless! Do you know who you are f*%king with? A Harvard professor and last remaining friend of Obama!! did i mention that i teach at harvard?!!!

The racist 1960’s “pig brutality” era is back in style with the POTUS’s not-so-subtle use of calling our law enforcement officers stupid. Is spitting on our brave soldiers when they come home far behind?

After careful consideration, and a push from my bff and blogger “A Patriotic Nurse”,  I’ve imported my blog “Sma’ Talk Wi’ T from Blogger.  I’m technically challenged and so there may be a few glitches.  It should take a few days and everything should be up and running.  Hopefully with your continued support, we can continue to have small talks and save the world from itself.

Que Sarah Sarah

From the desk of the Grrand Wazoo:

Yeah, it’s me again. I’ll bet you thought that I had disappeared into that journalistic good night but for better or worse at least for today, here I go again.

What, you may be asking yourself, could possibly be sooooo important as to coax the Ole Wazoo from his self imposed exile? As your faithful servant I am moved, nay obligated, to proffer to the masses of my steadfast and oh so perceptive followers the fruits of my latest brainfart.

In a nutshell, my thoughts as of late have been on the future of Caribou Barbie AKA Sarah Palin the soon to be Ex-Governor of Alaska and in particular, what’s next for her. Some speculate that Sarah is going to reinvent herself for another run at the Whitehouse but this time as the head Honcho. I indeed concur with this thought but being the who that I am, I prefer that thought with a twist. My prediction (and you heard it first here), is that the freshest breath of fresh air that the GOP has seen in a while will formally separate herself from the Party of Ronald Wilson Reagan to form a new and greatly needed viable third political party. This Party will be based on some good ole American ideals such as pulling your own weight in life, honoring and protecting our country, and, among other ideals, always doing what is right for America, not our neighbors here on the 3rd rock.

You know folks, I was wrong ONCE but that was just to see what it felt like. I hope my streak continues as this beloved country of ours really needs some fresh thoughts and brave leaders.

Self Respect For Girls

Great Mother/Daughter activity to build self esteem in young girls. I wish they had this program when I was growing up.

Mothers, this is a great project for teen groups, homeschool, church groups, Girl Scouts, Girls Club, summer or afterschool program. Dove provides free downloadable material for girls and Moms.

We Surrounded Them All Over The Country!

UPDATE: Counter Protest on ObamaCare in Raleigh, NC at Sen Kay Hagen’s Office. Thank you RandyRepublican for the pictures!

UPDATE: Tupelo, Mississippi. Only Four Move On members show up.

UPDATE: Thank you, Michelle Malkin for supporting National Health Care Protesters: More Soros-bots outnumbered at NY health care counterprotest, and in Orlando.

WELCOME Michelle Malkin readers!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Today was a nationally designated MoveOn.org aka ACORN’s day to lobby for socialized health care at Congress’s state offices. With the morning weather rainy and overcast, I knew it wasn’t going to be a big jubilee at Senator Bill Nelson’s and Senator Mel Martinez’s office. At 1pm, I found a parking spot close by and took my sign to the Sen. Nelson’s office complex. Fairtax.Org was represented as well as Smart Girl Politics, but no ACORN.
In total, despite the weather, there were sixteen Tea Party persons with great signs to rally passing cars. Four MoveOn white, middle-aged and elderly ladies dressed in blue teeshirts – looking like they were reliving the 60’s – were up in Nelson’s office meeting with Celeste Brown, Nelson’s Regional Director. When they came down, the Tea Party group took turns going up in smaller groups to sit with Brown and discuss our issues with the Obama’s health care agenda, leaving the rest to protest Obama’s socialist tactics. Brown, listened politely, asked clarification questions, but took no notes, inferred that despite the thousands of calls, emails, and visits protesting the Public Health Care bill, and only 13 calls for the bill, Nelson was going to do what he believed what was best. Vote for the bill. So Melanie of FairTax.org gave Celeste a “Pink Slip” for Sen. Nelson.
In Martinez’s offices, John Newstreet, Central Florida Regional Director, took the brunt of the heat from upset conservatives who were protesting RINO activity in the halls of Congress, compromising too much with Democrats. Newstreet acknowledged that he worked well with Nelson’s staff and that they were good people. Neither Nelson’s or Martinez’s office gets how upset voters are with their actions in Congress. They will in 2010.
There was no huge turnout of ACORN. Despite ACORN’s use of bullhorn, standing on a small dais, posters telling people to honk with support, and a total of twelve with one or two leaving when they saw how many Tea Party members came out, ACORN didn’t get much response from passing cars. They weren’t effective, they don’t have support from voters. We Surrounded Them!
The caps represent people against Obama’s health care plan that could not attend because they were working!
Last photograph is of ACORN dressed in blue. Even though it was supposed to be their day, ACORN’s piddly turn out FAILED!
