UPDATE: Pledging Allegiance Hoax Confirmed

with 9 comments

UPDATE: Pledge of Allegiance in Las Vegas School finally confirmed as a hoax. It’s just not true folks. Mosey along nothing to see here.

Note to self: This is the second time you’ve fallen for a story you wanted to believe. From now on, verify, verify, verify. Thank you to those I talked with to find out the facts.

UPDATE: Clark County School District is denying reports.
UPDATE: After getting a comment from a reader about the veracity of this Internet-wide story, I researched deeper and found out this isn’t the first time that the Clark County School District has had an incident over the Pledge of Allegiance.

I’ve talked to California-based NewsBlaze editor Alan Gray who reported the story of the parents who are upset over their children pledging “allegiance” to Obama in certain classrooms. Gray was unable to confirm names of parents or the school, but said he had contacted the Clark County School District and they did not know where the incident occurred or if it did occur. I have more feelers out there. Stay tuned. This may turn out to be a hoax.

I’m completely coming unglued over this one. Red County is reporting:

Eight days after Obama’s coronation, an elementary school in Las Vegas is forcing students to pledge allegiance to Obama and our flag.

At least three of the five classrooms have an overhead projector and as the children stand to recite the Pledge of Allegiance, the teacher turns on the classroom overhead and a full body image of Obama, with six U.S. flags behind him, comes up about 4 feet away from the flag that hangs on the wall. The screen is apparently around five feet by six feet.

In the image, President Obama appears to be staring straight out with no facial expression, just a serious look. All of the kids in each class faced the President, instead of the flag that hangs in the corner.

These state teachers need to be placed on suspension and a message sent out that this type of indoctrination is wrong. Parents need to prepare and warn their children about this type of socialist tactics.

Obama needs to call the Secretary of Education and demand this type of communist behavior has to stop. Nip this in the bud right now.

Majority Of People Want To See Reagan’s Policies Back

leave a comment »

Rasmussen polls this week are reporting that a majority of American (56%) voters want to see Reagan economics back in power. That’s not 56% of Republicans but American voters, both Republicans and Democrats. When polled, 85% of Republicans feel that implementing Reagan policies would lead the United States back to successful times.

To everything turn, turn, turn. There is a season, turn turn turn.

Politics is cyclic. Seems there could be more conservatives than liberals.

Obama’s First 10 Days = Broken Promises 1 & 2

leave a comment »

Not appearing in any American drive-by media newspapers or liberal network news, but reported by bloggers, the India Daily and the Free Republic, that Obama’s first broken promise: Lobbyists will not find a job in the White House. Oops, Obama be bad… he’s appointed more than 17 lobbyists to his administration so far.

His second broken promise came promptly a few days later when he signed the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act. Applauded by power red and blacksuits of Obamites and O-bots, the cool and smooth Obama first law passed went completely against his promise and policy for transparency.

Obama’s campaign rhetoric stated publically over and over again that he would bring transparency to the White House by allowing the public to look at any bills 5 days before signing them. He didn’t do that with the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act. He signed it with no public input whatsoever.

Will “liar, liar, pants on fire” be the Obama Administration’s motto for the next four years?

Compassionate Hamas Uses Families As Human Shields

leave a comment »

Those poor Palestinian terrorists. Being bombed by Israel is just not right. So Hamas just has to resort to desperate solutions, such as taking over the homes of families and using parents and children as human shields. It’s not their fault, Israel is attacking them.

Another Science Discovery Makes Fetus Stem Cells Unnecessary

leave a comment »

Free Republic is reporting that the University of Pennsylvania have found that stem cells from the esophagus tissue from mice can successfully be used to create new tissues in immune-deficient mice.

“The immediate implication is that we’ll have a better understanding of the role of these stem cells in normal biology, as well as in regenerative and cancer biology,” says senior author Anil Rustgi. “Down the road, we might use these stem cells in replacement therapy for diseases like gastroesophogeal reflux disease (GERD) and also to understand Barrett’s esophagus, a precursor to esophageal adenocarcinoma and how to reverse that before it becomes cancer.”

The researchers set out to identify and characterize potential stem cells — those with the ability to self renew — in the esophagus to understand normal biology and how injured cells may one day be repaired.

Since there is so much information from scientists and doctors that fetus stem cells don’t work and adult stem cells do, does this mean that Democrats, celebretards, and liberals will stop campaigning to keep abortion legal so that they can kill babies to harvest their stem cells?

No, the left-wing wants to keep murder legal.

Leave A Message – Nobody’s Home

leave a comment »

So much for all the preparation and time the Obama pre-inauguration staff spent on being up and ready to work on Inauguration Day. Obama’s promise of transparency is now a moot subject. Don Irvine, Accuracy in Media Chairman, and Top Conservative on Twitter (TCOT) provides insight from David Cay Johnston with the Columbian Journalism Review into Obama’s campaign rhetoric implosion.

This might be the simply the problems of a new administration struggling to cope with a flood of calls and perhaps the complex machinery of the modern office. But it might also indicate that President Obama’s messages about open government have not reached press secretary Robert Gibbs and his staff.

While it is too early to judge just how this will work out, the early signs are troubling. And interviews with a dozen Washington reporters indicate that the Obama press operation tends to embrace friendly questions, while treating skeptical questions as not worth their time or, worse, as coming from an enemy.

I have called 202-456-2580, the main number for the White House press office, going back to the Nixon administration. Never has anyone in the press office declined to spell his name, give his job title, or hung up, even after the kind of aggressive exchanges that used to be common between journalists and flacks—and between journalists and high government officials, for that matter.

Office machinery is complex? What about all the experts being hired? So much for all the hoopla about “Change” and how the Obama administration was not going to be the inept, unprepared, confused, secretive, as the Bush administration. Obama can’t even find his way into the White House and the drive-by media doesn’t say a word.

Obama Administration: Abortion Good, Adoption Bad

leave a comment »

Brian Darling, Red State reporting that Obama will be appointing David Ogden as Deputy Attorney General. Another pro-abortion advocate, David Ogden will be an effective tool for Obama to make abortions a necessity of having a good life vs giving birth will which mean women having a life of woe. Darling says:

On March 6, 1992, Attorney David Ogden signed an amicus brief for the American Psychology Association in Planned Parenthood v Casey, 505 U.S. 833 (1992), arguing:

From Page 23 of Ogden Brief submitted in Casey:

It is grossly misleading to tell a woman that abortion imposes possible detrimental psychological effects when the risks are negligible in most cases, when the evidence shows that she is more likely to experience feelings of relief and happiness, and when child-birth and child-rearing or adoption may pose concomitant (if not greater) risks of adverse psychological effects for some women depending on their individual circumstances.

Obama has made it clear to Planned Parenthood that he will protect abortion (not children) and that he feels that having children is a punishment. Make your voice heard to Obama. Tell Congress and Obama NO on naming David Ogden to Deputy Attorney General.

Want Proof RINO’s Exist? Here You Go!

leave a comment »

RINO’s are the reason why Republicans lost the election… that and the Bush’s Administration domestic policies.

Michelle Malkin’s late night reports on the Republicans who voted tonight with Democrats on the bloated S-Chip expansion.

The Nine RINO’s are (drumroll and Taps playing in the background):

  • Alexander, TN
  • Collins, ME
  • Corker, TN (what’s up with TN Republicans?)
  • Hutchieson, TX (Bush’s state, no wonder)
  • Lugar, IN
  • Martinez, FL (I’m glad he’s leaving – We need to elect a conservative Hispanic! I told Martinez’s office he was worthless)
  • Murkowski, AK
  • Snowe, ME (No surprise there – a definite Obama RINO)
  • Specter, PA (Another no-brainer… really no brains)

The RNC and these RINO’s need to be put on notice that there will be no monies donated to their resurrection campaigns. They should be DOA when they knock on Republican doors.

Which Republicans side with Obama on issues? Five Thirty Eight provides a quick chart. Click on graphic to enlarge.
