Gates Embraces Racist Stereotypes

with one comment

Hot Air brings us this embarrassing (ala other racists like Sotomayor, Wright) and hateful video of Harry Gates preaching on a Sunday morning.

Count how many ugly stereotypes Harvard-educated and employed Professor Harry Gates uses in his talk during a church service. How about watermelon, barbecue, shake the tree, one-nigger syndrome?

Gates’s speech reinforces that affirmative action keeps minorities enslaved that they can’t compete in the open market by hard work and doing a good job. Who’s really looking out for who? Not the Harry Louis Gates, Sotomayors, and Rev Wrights of the world. When you tell someone that they can’t do something because of the color of their skin, you’re not helping them – you’re hurting them. Politicians like Charlie Rangel, community organizers like Barack Obama, Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, and Harvard professors like Harry Gates have made their careers on the backs of minorities. Without the impoverished, uneducated, and ignorant masses, they have nothing.

  1. I am so sick of hearing the “woe is me” from these people and sadly it isn’t limited to our politicians. In my everyday run of the mill life I have seen many use the “I am black, therefore, I an entitled.”It in no way contributes to the real issues we are facing today.
