Hispanic Group Mischaracterizes Hate

Stung by the collapse of the immigration bill in the Senate last month, NCLR leaders and members at the group’s annual convention in Miami Beach, which began yesterday, say they will have to start a campaign to register and mobilize voters, to warn against crossing the line in the debate and to force lawmakers to take a clear stand on what they are willing to tolerate.

“I think we have to shine a light on it,” Ms. Munoz said. “At the end of the day, we believe people need to take sides, that you can’t stand on the sidelines, especially if part of what is motivating the actions of the United States Congress is not really about the public-policy debate, but is about their discomfort with Latinos.”

It works both ways… lots of people who were on the conservative sidelines came out against the immigration policy. Just as if Hillary is the Democratic presidential nominee, many people who would not normally vote, will come out in droves to see that she is not elected.

The group backs bills to protect credit card users and make it easier for foreign-born workers to send remittances back home. The group also supports stronger assessment and accountability provisions when Congress updates the No Child Left Behind education bill, and it opposes efforts to make English the “official” language of the United States. Speaking to delegates during lunch yesterday, Rep. Lincoln Diaz-Balart, Florida Republican and a Cuban immigrant, urged them to help preserve Spanish. “It is important that we emphasize the Spanish language and that we keep the Spanish language, and that we transmit that emphasis to our children and our grandchildren,” he said.

Then they need to stay in their own Spanish countries or start their own country in another New World,as the Puritans did when their children began speaking Dutch and assimilating themselves into Dutch culture. This is the United States of America where we speak English and all are welcome who come legally and want to assimilate. Become the melting pot.

Teach your values, your traditions, Spanish within your home, but if you want a strictly Hispanic culture, Spanish instead of English, you need to return back to Cuba, Mexico, Haiti, South America, and change your homelands to be a better place to live.

New Hotline Allows Anonymous Reports Of Illegals

Maybe taking a cue and encouragement from Sheriff Richard K Jones in Butler, Ohio, Sheriff Arpaio of Maricopa County has a new hotline for illegal aliens. No, not a new service to provide assistance to criminals, but for Maricopa County residents fed up with illegal aliens to report any illegal movement and activity.

The hotline is part of an expanded immigration enforcement plan Arpaio unveiled. In another part, about 160 sheriff’s deputies, cross-trained to enforce immigration law, will saturate Valley cities and roadways to find and arrest those who are here illegally, the sheriff said. The deputies now have broad powers not only to question people about their immigration status during traffic stops, but also if they commit even a minor infraction, such as littering.

Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office’s new hotline to call with information or evidence about crimes involving illegal immigration or human smuggling is (602) 876-4154.

I wonder how many calls from out of state will come in, asking Maricopa County to help in their overrun, law-flouting sanctuary cities?

I would give it a shot.

Back to Sheriff Jones in Ohio, who has the full support of his constituents. His castigators, liberal left-wingers (who are lawers, law professors) are equating illegal aliens with blacks in pre-1960’s civil rights era. (‘scuse me while I roll my eyes pathetically)

Perhaps what is happening here in Butler County, Ohio is best illustrated by the image of Butler County Sheriff Richard K Jones standing next to this disgusting “Illegal Aliens Here” sign. The arrow points to the entrance of of the sheriff’s office. Similar signage is appearing on county jail vans. It certainly isn’t hard to relate these signs to signs that not so long ago warned blacks to get out of town before dusk.

Isn’t hard to relate? That’s just convoluted reasoning. How is equating African-Americans legally in this country for hundreds of years with illegal aliens being treated by slaves by greedy business owners going to further illegal aliens cause? Fortunately, the citizens of Butler County, Ohio, understand and appreciate what their sheriff and county officials are doing:

• I am pleased to report that Sheriff Jones is still in office, busy putting ILLEGAL aliens where they belong–back in their home countries. AND he is billing the Mexican government as well as our own for the cost of doing so. “Undocumented” is such a nice, politically correct MISLEADING term. • Some of you think that companies are “justified” in paying illegal aliens next to nothing because the jobs they do are “good for the economy”. However, they may be hired as cheap labor but all tax payers are compensating the illegal aliens’ incomes by paying for their educations, medical costs and food and rent. IF these companies hiring illegal aliens had to pay them wages that included benefits and taxes, then all of a sudden, those wages are as high as they would be if they hired legal citizens who have rights! My point is that the only ones benefiting from this “cheap labor” are the big companies themselves. Tax payers are actually making up the difference.

• I am SO pleased that I voted for Sheriff Jones! Illegal aliens need to be deported. Why should the tax burden of housing these criminals fall on me? • Applying the word “racist” is a common ploy of Democrats and liberals. It’s a handy device they grab onto in place of honesty and common sense. Our country was built by LEGAL immigrants and their offspring and they included my Dad’s parents who emigrated from Germany…The responsibility of providing Mexicans with the opportunities to live a decent life style…belongs to Mexico. Why doesn’t Vincente Fox devote his every effort to helping the Mexican citizens to thrive and enjoy their homeland?

• Hooray for Sheriff Jones! I wish he would come to San Diego where we are overrun with illegals. The politically correct government is selling us out. As for them only wanting to provide for their family, the majority of our crime here is committed by illegal aliens. Are we going to wait until there are so many illegals that they take over? Unless you live in an area where the illegals almost outnumber the citizens, you can’t appreciate the problem.

If the rest of the country would follow suit, smack down the employers and businesses hiring slaves, (cough) I mean illegal aliens, we wouldn’t need to build the wall.

Allow our government officials hired to protect our borders, our homes, and enforce the laws already established, we wouldn’t have to be discussing illegal immigration.
