I first started blogging in May 2006 with this post:  With life so hectic these days, who has a chance to sit around and have a cuppa tea with friends and talk about what’s going on in the world? Life is streaming all around us and sharing is what friendship is all about.

My list-serv was increasing and it seemed that more people wanted to share so to prevent email spam while adding more readers on, I’ve decided to blog current events, history, culture, and trivia items that I find interesting, I’m going to invite you to have a sma’ talk wi’ T.

Come in and sit down and pour yourself a wee cuppa tea. I’ll take mine with one sugar and milk. Invite your friends and family and let me know what’s on your mind. Let’s talk.

In 2009, with the current climate of political hope and change that is turning into despair and destruction, it’s even more important to discuss the issues.  I’m always willing to listen to you but make sure you’re up to the conversation.  I consider Scrabble a blood sport and my faith in family, God, and country even more important.  Remember, even the best of men, sometimes have to roll up their sleeves, spit on their hands, hoist the flag, and start slitting throats.  Liberals are always the first ones to go.

  3. Those who love God–as you claim to–don’t write about people the way you do.
    Disagreement doesn’t necessitate attack.
    You’re a hypocrite.

    • You don’t understand the meaning of the word “hypocrite.”
      hyp⋅o⋅crite  /ˈhɪpəkrɪt/ [hip-uh-krit] –noun

      1. a person who pretends to have virtues, moral or religious beliefs, principles, etc., that he or she does not actually possess, esp. a person whose actions belie stated beliefs.
      2. a person who feigns some desirable or publicly approved attitude, esp. one whose private life, opinions, or statements belie his or her public statements.

      ——————————————————————————–
I don’t claim to be perfect, sinless or even “partners” with God on life and death issues when it suits them.

I am not like liberal Democrats who want abortion to kill babies yet that’s not a moral issue. But want to shut Catholic churches down because they speak against abortions in their homilies only to be told by NObama to preach from their pulpits for healthcare because it’s a moral issue.

Au contraire, mon petit liberal, I am not the hypocrite. I want government out of my life. There is no reason to have government in the health care industry mandating who gets to live and who unfortunately doesn’t deserve to live. A government that doesn’t believe in protecting life isn’t going to protect your life. Be afraid!

I am sorry your comprehension disability in reading About’s last paragraph doesn’t allow you to be tolerant of my beliefs.

I never personally attack private individuals or call them names. I know liberals Democrats are trying to destroy my country. No quarter.

    • Funny how liberals complain about spelling instead of responding to the issues. I won’t say anything about your grammar. There has to be a reason you’re a nurse in England.

      • She probably fled to England because of the way she writes and was tired of being reprimanded by “Risk Managemnet” due to improper writing skills and the inability to capitalize when needed. Don’t worry, T, you know when they have lost the battle they tend to get a tad snarky!!! Keep up the great work!

      • Erica, aka A Patriotic Nurse, you’re so right! My Scottish mother was a nurse. My Scottish grandmother was a nurse. My Scottish aunts and cousins were nurses. My family lives in UK. I understand the NHS issues. Let liberals debate the issues, not spelling. I think I will have another cuppa tea now. LOL

It’s great to have you by my side as we fight for our country’s freedoms!
