Biden’s Back To Lying

with 10 comments

Palin wins debate! Drudge has votes from mostly conservative readers:

  • BIDEN 29% 62,209
  • PALIN 70% 151,127
  • NEITHER 2% 3,701

    Total Votes: 217,037

Palin wins the debate while Biden lies through his teeth. Palin was back to her exuberant, spot on self. Biden makes 14 errors (lies) while straddling the fence.
Gwen Ifill showed her liberal support of Democrats by wearing Obama Blue clothing matching Biden’s blue tie.

More on the debate later on this morning.

  2. The cheesy smile Biden made a number of times during the debate was the tell all as to who was hit the hardest. It’s the same smile that boxers use to try to convince their opponents that the punches didn’t hurt. “Say it ain’t so Joe” reminded me of Reagan’s “There you go again” in his debate with Carter. While Biden was was effective in speaking to the cameras, Palin was more effective in speaking to the issues and to Biden himself. As to who won the debate, the biggest winners were those who had any doubts about Sarah Palin. They can put those doubts to rest.

  3. BY THE GRACE OF GOD AND THE COURAGE OF A WOMAN FROM ALASKA… THE LORD SHALL DELIVER US FROM THE CURSE THAT COULD AFFECT THIS COUNTRY… SARAH PALIN SHALL DELIVER THE PRESIDENCY TO JOHN MC CAIN…
PEOPLE LOVE SARAH PALIN’S GENUINE CANDOR AND STRENGTH IN HER FEMINITY. THIS COUNTRY IS READY FOR A CHANGE… THIS IS A REAL CHANGE…!

  4. T. Sarah Palin won the debate all on her own, but it is far better than that. Almost immediately after, they had Fred Thompson on interview; he said that Biden “misstated” facts in at least six specific instances that he not, particularly referring to Senate votes. In one case, he discussed a specific vote with John Mc Cain, how to vote on a particular , and, he then joined Mc Cain’s vote with his own vote. Karl Rove also said that Biden made several misstatements of facts. In at least one instance, Rove looked up the actual voting record, showing that a Biden assertion wa not true. If Mc Cain people tie down the truth through Thompson and Rove, at least, and scream loud enough, they have proof positive that Joe Biden lied in several, important instances during the debate.

  5. JCR should have been following the AOL presidential polls over the last 3 months. They have consistently shown McCain winning in ALL FIFTY STATES! But thanks for my best laugh of the morning–calling AOL “right-leaning” made my day.

  6. So a small slanted segment of Walmart mentality viewers decide who ‘won’?
I think not – you don’t want to read what more educated pollsters had to say

  8. Disagree.
Two weeks sequestered from reality and under extreme coaching did successfully allow her to speak briefly without too many trip ups. I’m happy to predict that the truth of her shallow understanding of the issues of today will not be hidden by a little coaching and that she, along with her running mate will soon recede into the darkness.

McCain halts campaigning in Michigan ! 1 down…..49 to go đŸ™‚

  9. “May I call you Joe?” said she….It was all over before the first question. May I live long enough to see this woman president one day…..

  10. The news media often “determines” who wins a debate, short of the
actual election. We saw two professionals who were coached to
tell us what we wanted to hear. It remains to be seen what happens
after the election, because the President can not do much for
“Change”, unless the Congress, and to some extent, the courts and
other institutions cooperate. Change is not always good. The German
people elected Adoph Hitler. The Iranians overthrew a tyrant Shah,
for an arguably worse Ayatollah. Change is not enough, it needs to
be good change. And all politicians require the help of people who
lobby, who require quid pro quo. No matter what Obama says, he
will have to pay off his supporters, in varying degrees, to have any
say in what laws are passed, and which laws are enforced…
