The Audacity Of Botched Abortions

with 6 comments

Last night on the Hannity & Colmes television show, Sean Hannity and Alan Colmes were literally arguing and yelling with Bob Beckel, liberal spokesperson on Barack Obama’s infanticide policies. Botched abortions was the heated topic. The phrase botched abortion is so horrific I can’t think of it without getting heart sick. “Botched abortion” is when a baby is born alive. How heinous is that? When a baby is born alive and struggles to survive?

Barack Obama doesn’t want that to happen. Jill Stanek’s documentation prove that Barack Obama’s infanticide policies are a good abortion is when the baby is killed. How dare anyone try to keep an aborted baby alive? He’s voted twice to make sure that a law to ensure that any babies born alive during a “botched abortion” would not be given medical attention to survive.

How dare any baby try to survive?
Obama’s flippant response at the Saddleback Civil Forum ‘that it’s above my paygrade’ to determine when does a baby have human rights was contemptuous of life itself. And he’s supposed to be a Christian? Maybe he should answer the question: When does a person gain human rights? At what age? Would that be above his paygrade?

God’s omniscient and infinite plan determines who is born and what happens to us in life. To knowingly be a factor in encouraging abortions is a sin that will weigh heavy against Obama, whether he is president or just a has-been Messiah wannabe.

  1. Abortion is far in the lead as being mankind’s most hideous invention and practice. There is no excuse for performing nor consenting to one. No matter how dire the reason for the conception was, that circumstance pales in comparison to the barbarious butchering of a human being.

Theoretically, abortion is justified if the unborn is an unjust threat to innocent life or is a foreign invader.

Such situations are few and far between.

“Unjust threats” and “Foreign invaders” are merely subjective concepts which can be used to try and force a loophole or exception in a moral absolute and thereby becomes an attempt to negate that absolute.

The concepts I mentioned are used when discussing the ethics of killing born people.

The pro-life thesis is based on the assumption that the same ethics apply to killing the unborn as they do to killing born people.
