Did The ‘Ice Man’ Kill Jimmy Hoffa?

leave a comment »

From the Orlando Sentinel comes the announcement of an upcoming book titled, The Ice Man, Confessions of a Mafia Contract Killer. It describes not only the murders of a cop, dozens of homeless persons, and torturing other helpless victims to death but also Jimmy Hoffa, Teamsters union boss. The author, Richard ‘Ice Man’ Kuklinski writes about his gruesome career killing over 200 people throughout his life.

The murder and subsequent hunt for Jimmy Hoffa’s body was the headline news in the late 1970’s. His body was never found. The rumors ranged from being buried underneath the field of a football stadium, crushed in a car trunk and sold as scrapmetal to being crammed in a 50-gallon drum and sunk at sea. This was the second sensational murder to invade my innocence as a teenager. The first? Charles Manson’s horrible rampage.

Is Kuklinski bragging or is the murder of Jimmy Hoffa finally solved?
